Finally getting a chance to do some blogging and share this wedding. So happy to have been a part of Ran and Will’s day of celebration with their family and friends (they had a smaller civil ceremony earlier in the year, but held their Tea Ceremony, bridal portraits and reception in December – yes, this is belated blogging, there are never enough hours in a day!). I loved all the details, from the exquisite dress, to the gorgeous and unique bouquet, and the gold and white theme they chose. They, their friends and their family are such a fun, warm and joyful group of people, and made it such an enjoyable day! Special thanks to Stephen from Stephen K Lee Photography for second shooting with me.
Yes, there are 4 rings…one is Will’s engineer’s Iron Ring 🙂
After the tea ceremony, the group braved the winter cold and misty weather to take a few group shots out in the Olympic Village.
This next set of photos was actually taken on a separate day, as most of the building it was taken in was only open on weekdays.
After photos at the Olympic Village, we headed to the reception venue at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel, with it’s amazing views and elegant, modern decor.
Not afraid of a little rain, we got a “lit-up rain” shot in the courtyard of the Owner’s suite.
How cool is that view of the “Earth”?
Fun & games…
The bridal party had a fun, surprise dance performance for their guests.
Ran slipped into a more comfortable (but still very chic) dress later in the evening to hang out with their guests and just for fun, the group performed the dance more time!
